DALLAS, TEXAS – March 12, 2001 – Callbutton, a provider of web interaction software and telecommunications services that allow businesses to interact one-on-one with potential and current online customers, announced today the launching of a national sales and marketing campaign.
Callbutton is engaging independent and SOHO businesses through strategic partnerships and larger enterprises through direct marketing and sales efforts.
Callbutton plans to sell its entry level product, Callbutton Basic, primarily through integrated partnerships. Callbutton's partnership programs are designed to work with a multitude of online marketplaces, web development firms, and influence centers...
- Platinum Partners - Companies that distribute to resellers in non-U.S. markets. Initial targets for Platinum Partners are Europe, South America and Asia.
- Gold Partners - Companies that share Callbutton revenue streams in exchange for endorsing and marketing Callbutton to their large customers or affinity base of businesses. FreeMerchant, serving more than 220,000 merchants nationwide, is a Callbutton Gold Partner.
- Silver Partners - Designed for online content and solutions providers who serve at least 20,000 active SOHO or small business web site operators. In return for recommending Callbutton to their customers, Silver Partners receive recurring commission revenue. Several undisclosed agreements with Callbutton represent the Silver Partner level.
- Integration Partners - Web development and hosting companies that work with mid- to large-size customers and recommend Callbutton to their customers. ImSure.com partners with Callbutton as an Integration Partner.
- Affiliates - Callbutton has chosen Microsoft bCentral's ClickTrade to serve and market its Affiliate program. This program caters to online businesses that wish to gain one-time commissions for referring their customers to Callbutton. Several undisclosed affiliate web sites have signed up with Callbutton through ClickTrade.
