Michael Markette joined Callbutton as the company's president and CEO in 2001. Markette comes to Callbutton from Seattle, Wash., where he headed a spin-off of Onyx Software (NASDAQ: ONXS) that helped independent sales representatives, sales teams and partners acquire and distribute sales leads. He brings more than a decade of experience in raising capital and growing CRM-based businesses serving industry giants such as MCI WorldCom and Toshiba America.
As an entrepreneur, consultant and business leader, Markette launched his own CRM consulting business that transitioned sales and customer service professionals to Internet technology. He employed more than 20 people, landed almost $2 million in funding, including a strategic investment from Onyx Software, and won major clients.
Prior to venturing on his own, Markette served as vice president of Marketing and Sales for Geneva Systems, Inc., a southern California manufacturing software provider. At Geneva Systems, he increased sales from less than $1 million to nearly $5 million annually.

Robert recently re-joined Callbutton to lead our market expansion and partner initiatives. Based in Seattle, Robert brings a long history of partner program management, corporate development, and business development to Callbutton. An engineer by education, but a 20 year sales and reseller management professional from a broad variety of industries and company sizes, Robert will work closely with our clients and partners to help them realize the potential of Callbutton’s technology.
Nicholas has over 20 years experience in finance and management. Beginning in 1985 Mr. Markette began working in banking and finance. Mr. Markette served as the Executive Vice President of CWIA; as Chairman, Director, and Chairman of the Compensation Committee for a $200+ million public company, and currently serves as a Director on the board of Intelemedia Communications and Mediatech. Mr. Markette graduated summa cum laude and Beta Gamma Sigma from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Finance and holds a M.S. from the Ken Blanchard College of Business at Grand Canyon University. Mr. Markette is currently researching the business field of high performance teams and is a frequent speaker at colleges and symposiums.
